heat wave

We seem to have turned the corner and run smack into summer. Many of our herding guests have commented that its 3 to 5 degrees cooler here on top than it is at the bottom of the mountain. Apparently our meager 550 foot bump in the road does have some mountain characteristics. but having said that, its still to hot to train after about 10 in the morning. We have had to cancel the last two evenings of practice. The nice thing about summer here on top is, it won't last. The days are already getting shorter.
