Going to have to cancel this weekends fun day the fields are just to wet for a group.  I am trying to pick a date in April to reschedule   John

Still on at this point  make final decision wed    John

Looking at March 19 & 20  for the First Novice Series Trial

Lets Call it Gearing up For 2011 Novice Series.   Limit 8 dogs   Must be a Novice handler only not Novice and Pro-Novice   The Idea here is to provide those that are just getting started a chance to spend the day at a novice only trial.  Not the "you have 3 min to hurry up and pen" deal at a busy overbooked trial.

So here is the plan.   We will let 8 dogs enter.  We will start running in my small field after a handles meeting.
We will run all 8 dogs   course will be about 120 yard outrun, fetch around the post go with the sheep between the panels and go to the pen.   Runs will be Judged and videoed  I will come to the post with you if you would like.  We will break for coffee and cakes,  watch the runs on the big TV pick out something you would like to work on and spend 30 min working that problem with you. Someplace in here we will eat lunch from the JKW Grill. And run all the dogs again.  Good time and great for you and your dog.  Bring a flash card if you want to take the videos home with you.  Cost $50 per team per day ( sign up for one or both days). Gives you 4 runs and an hour of time to work on problems.  Lunch both days provided by the JKW Grill.

Email John if you would like to attend.   I have 4 spots left

I want to do a series of trials for  Novice people this spring.   late March, April and early May.  I would add a Nursery run to these weekends if I had enough interest.      If any of you have any ideas   comment here and it will help me come up with a plan.   I dont want to do the full fun trials like I did the last few years, kinda want to give the ewes a break this spring   so something smaller more educational is my thought.
